I guess you folks aren't used to it. We suffer in the summer heat. It's still good being on the green side of the grass, hot or cold.

I guess you folks aren't used to it. We suffer in the summer heat. It's still good being on the green side of the grass, hot or cold.
Used to the heat, just the humidity will kill ya. Summer time you take two baths, the one in the house and ten minutes after you go outside you get a sweat bath. The cold doesn't help my knees and shoulders one bit. I look like the Pillsbury Doughboy in the winter outside, got so much on to stay warm that I can't move.

If it stayed 75 or 80 with 40% humidity year round it would be great.

Right now it's 23 with 60% humidity, makes it feel colder.

Warmed up here. Only -2F this morning. Left saw I was working on inside.
We had 14°F this morning and ice.

14 degrees here also, how do the folks do it when -30? If anything fails heat wise they are done, my family owns a plumbing company and we are 24x7 doing frozen pipes, lots are sprinkler pipe breaks which flood the houses from attic to basement, hundreds of thousands of $$

When my brother owned his own business, he stayed busy fixing pipes in the winter. He got out when he started having problems with his knees, crawling under houses and cramped attic. Works for another company doing commercial electric and plumbing. He does both but no more cramped places, just sometimes hi off the ground when they change out football fields lights.

That was the warmest morning so far. LOL
On a positive note, the oil company came by to fill my tank, we have not seen him since last year sometime, he squeezed 100 gallons in it, I just smiled as smoke was billowing out of my two chimneys

No fun. Looks like it's cold all the way down to the gulf. We got a bit of relief today but very windy. Colder for the rest of the week. -18F Friday night.

Aaron told me yesterday 60ish in Calif and low 30's at night. I felt his pain.
He is a bit insulated.
