That's what I use. I do a quick cleaning ,not rubbing too hard. Nothing to rings, except cleaning out ring grooves.

Yup. Be sure to clean it good. I spray with brake clean.

The two top handle mini's and the wild thang are now runners . Not tuned in my 10 degree snowing weather but start right up. The wild thang had the optional broken fuel filter line and the sawdust gas filter! LOL Must of ran for a while to pack it full. Ran new lines on all and carb kits/plugs.

I've seen that a few times, I think it's the type filter that's used, I like the old felt filters myself.

Got to order fuel lines, will run on a shot of fuel into the carb. I'll probably order a few feet to have for it.

I think you missed the part about the fuel filter being broken off the line...

Maybe if the filter fell off and they put it back on later. Those stone/ceramic or what ever they are that are used on those saws will not let that big of stuff through them.

Correct sir , someone saw it broken and replaced it without doing carb. Saw quit with low available fuel . Plug color was way light . But it lived to tell ...
