Ran these 3 today with 28" buried in ash. Didnt know the guys kid was videoing it till switching saws.

505 just starting 2nd tank after rebuild.

505 385 ran same chain LGX like new with rakers lowered tad more then off the reel.

064 off the reel new LGX.

52mm 40mm 064 - 54mm 37mm 385 - 54mm 36mm 505

 
Was anxious to see how new rings would do on my new to me 4000. Haven't run it yet just did a compression test. Little disappointed at 122- 125. May squirt a little 2 stroke in the cylinder to see if it rises much. Could be simply a worn out cylinder though it should run.

What was your source for rings?

Yep I would say that is a little low for a 4000. Delete the base gasket and see if the rings seat.
 
Give it some run time, see what it has afterwards, I was pretty sure those rings were OEM and the listing said so. What did the cylinder look like?

I should check the one I put a new OEM piston kit on and report back
