Exhaust is the easiest hop up to make use of . I found these for the under 35 cc saws . Off RC cars . I ordered a couple just to have around . I love the small saws .

They are 8" long by 3" wide with the CNC cut swivel mount . Adapt it ! Now Im looking at bigger carb jets .
Seem like they would have had the expansion chamber further toward the engine like a motocross bike.

Parts is parts right. Nope she ran 2nd pull.

There is 3 types of Craftsman 3.3 54cc that I am aware of, black with blue, black with gold, grey. The ones I like alot are the chrome bore versions that are like the poulan predator 335 saw. Run with any saw in their same cc range and out cut some bigger.
But anyhow went on a little trip this morning to pick up a 1 owner saw south of me.

I can not understand why people dont clean their filters... then wonder why the saw does not run right....Nice saw i had a mint black and blue 2.8 i sold it cut like a son of gun.... should have kept it very high compression and a new looking piston....i sold all my 295 versions along with all older saws i used and bought all new....echo's those lil 2.8 saws were real dependable only thing was the caps springs and oil pumps...but the parts were cheap....

Looks my old one. Can you confirm that its a single ring?

Do the oiler gear sets in P4200/5200 series run dry?, in other words no initial dab of gear oil or moly grease at all?

I know the worm gears run slow & that cavity is fully isolated from the oiler flow & crank seal, but I’ve never seen in the service manual to add a bit of lube.
