If you have to gap them don't forget to add the locating pin in the ring groove into the gap.

For sure, though his rings haven’t needed gapping in the past. I measured the pins at .059 t0.060. If .005 gap per inch is correct and a bore of 1.8” in diameter ,a ring gap of .009 would be too tight. Possibly the rule of thumb applies to pistons with the offset pin.

Someone mentioned trying an inline check valve on the S25 fuel line. Did I imagine it? If not, did it work and what is the part number?

I found check valves for rc planes to be a good fit . Several manufacturers and you can even get a mini inline primer bulb .

They are very small RC fuel lines are tiny. Like 2.5 mm id and 5 mm od .

I’d imagine only reason for a check valve is to keep fuel in the line so starting is easier.

I agree on the use . Dsell was looking for one . If carb is right a few good pulls gets it going . I might try one hidden in the top handle .

Working on a 3700 and almost have it finished, didn’t know that the base gasket was .025 till I was wondering if I should squish it so I went with a thin one of .012 hope it helps

You can easily do away with the base gasket.
