Why do you guys run gasket delete? Just trying to get the highest compression possible? Or is it just a mod thing? Can someone post true examples of readings or performances that show viable differences on performance for work involved? Personally if I want more cc I just grab a bigger saw,

I cut 90% of my wood in the good old days with my 3400 it's still a great saw and with the new rings it's back strong. Last time I used wood for heat was 1993, now it's just fire pitI used a 3400 today that I put a new NOS built oil pump on and was very surprised at how great both the manual & auto Oiler work

Bet that is loud with the exhaust pointing back at ya.Decided to pipe a micro xxv instead of the 2.0 craftsman . Im doing a 304 stainless manifold so I can polish it . Compared to other brand 2.0 saws the Poulans have a huge exhaust port , it's even tapered out . Anybody know a saw with same carb mount larger cc ? I need more fuel and want the needles . Here is a mini mac 25 I am also doing to compare brands.

I burn for heat but still run out of things to cut. I cut noodles for fun. I think its a great way to set a saw .View attachment 637032
You need some pets for those noodles

Agree even with a splitter elm is so fibrous that it’s a pain. Luckily or not, in Vermont ,Dutch elm disease has killed most. I do love their canopy however.I have been noodling up some elm. I hate splitting it.
