There's a "community" of self-righteous, self-important freaks that inhabit the CL forums. They flag whatever listings raise their ire. Sometimes it's because they feel threatened by the ad (say they're ebay resellers of junk and don't want you cutting into their supply of "logger logging" "vintage muscle saws". Other times, it's because they feel your ad is too commercial. Whatever their reasons.............................they're a bunch of #######s that can make things dificult for you. They have for me at times...:bang:

Don't put me in with that bunch. While I do Flag Ads, they're just the ones that are way over posted. A person doesn't need to create a whole new Ad when they chose to lower the price, especially when it's only a couple of hours later. Craigslist has a Edit function for a reason. It's extremely annoying to see duplicate Ads take up half a page.

How's the pedo killer craftsman doing? For some strange reason I think you got that saw from me about year or 2 ago. Am I correct?

They aren't plastic. Not if Oem. Should be metal

you are right. it has been PC'd. this thing looks so much different than my other two. there isn't enough clearance between the handle and the cylinder shield/top cover. rumor has it that it runs, but it is missing the choke rod and the choke wire is basically bent straight to make it usable. the oiler lever is gone. this makes my third 3600 - the other two have bow bars on them.

It sure looks like the top cover and filter cover should fit. Hint: remove two bolts on Top handle, flip it forward to install cylinder cover. Almost imposSible to install, otherwise.

sorry for the mis-comm ... when the top cover is installed and the handle is in place, there isn't enough room for a gloved hand to fit comfortably. oh, it's missing the AF cover too.

Something is amiss. There should be plenty of room! Is Top handle bent? I have x- large hands and have no problem. Maybe a picture of the handle will help.

PP335 at work

We dropped 4 pines with it (and my Dads S25DA). One was tricky, the biggest of course was leaning twoard some power lines but we notched it good and tied it off and it landed perfect. I went back yesterday to take down and halve a fence there. I hit 2 nails:taped: but thats ok cause the chain was on its way out anyway. The saw performed perfect. Glad I have 2:msp_biggrin:

OK, today I discovered that my S25DA wasn't oiling, and I found out why. All thats in the tank is the strainer and a spring with about 1/4 inch of hose on it. How do I replace that hose? It looks like I have to split the case to get at the back of the oiler. Am I missing something? I guess I better get an IPL.

daddy 66

you dont have to split the case bud take the fly wheel off and pop out the oil pump its right under the oil pump i used a dentle pic toget it out real careful like then just pull it out and replace it!thats how i did it..
