Hit a couple small engine shops, today, and made a score of roller nose bars. The bottom 2 are NOS Sears roller nose bars. The top one is worn, but will work on a shelf queen....They were freebies!!!!!:hmm3grin2orange:

These two were $10. Top one is a chromed Remington, and the other an Oregon (which works on one of my 245s....

Starter cover looks from memory like what's on by Poulan Pro 655. I would guess it to be those built on that chassis.

I have a couple of good part numbers 530010892, and looked and looked on line but all the places that I found show no longer available. If you have a good source that would be great and I would be impressed.

I just hit the spots I shop at for new parts, ran both numbers for flocked and mesh. NLA now just like you said. :msp_ohmy:

Wished I had some warning on that, I would have put a few more new ones back.

Looks like used or NOS for now. I did find a good used top half (outer) for sale if you have a good back half.

Thanks what I have for now can get me by but I will be on the look out. First I struck out on my J-red 670 and now these filters. Oh well if I am going to play with older saws I guess a certain amount of it is to be expected.

I'm assuming you're talking about a Poulan Pro 335? According to my IPLs, the 10892 is for the 285 and 530010855 is for the 335.
If you can post a couple good pics, I have a place, about an hour away, that has a load of new parts (used to be a Poulan/Poulan Pro dealer). Some of the parts have numbers on them, but most don't. They might have a couple. Might be a couple weeks before I get over there again, though.......

I had no idea. I looked to see if there was any more, of the saw, around, but this was all.....

Yes the air filters for the 335. I will take a picture tomorrow and post it. The wife is dragging me out the door for now.

I forgot to mention that the part number you show was replaced with part number530010892. Thanks Roger.

I am shocked that I cannot find a replacement air filter for my 335. Of all the items that would still be available that is the one thing I think should still be around. It is a consumable item I would think that gets replaced ever so often and they should have made a ton of these. But none to be had.

Also during my search I find that a Partner 11 uses the same air filter. Well as they say I will have to make do with what I have.

Have you tried Sears Parts Direct? If there's an equivalent Craftsman saw they might still have a filter for it.

need a fuel cap for my poulan 306A. played swap-a-part and discovered that the cap off my 361 fits very nicely as does the cap off my homie C-5 (non-vented but correct size). the cap off my monkey ward saw fits too but its not vented either. looks like there may be several makes that will fit.
also needing a vented cap for my C-5.
this appears to be the "fuel cap phase" for me. not sure what else will fit but i'm not proud, just want functional caps. anyone got fuel caps they'd be willing to part with?
also posted on old mag thread and homelite thread
thanks, jerry

Nothing wrong with that filter. The top screw comes out, and you can take it apart. Wash it in some good detergent, and it'll be just like a new one.

Yes you are right there is nothing wrong with this filter. I did not want to use a crappy filter as an example of what one is suppose to look like. I do have more than just one of these saws so I could use another filter.
