D10 is the diaphragm kit, just the gaskets. K10 has the needle. K20 has two needles, one short one long. The long one is the one most Poulan applications call for although I have had a small tiller that used the short one.

thankyou very much steve....

The guy I got the 405 from said he thought it was 52cc. I didnt bother to tell him that its 65cc.
So you know the 405 is based on a Pioneer P-42 as far as I know. Arrowhead told me he thinks the 405 PLUS should have a third transfer port that the regular 405 didnt have. Since this one has black handles it should be a later model.

I did get a chance to go over it a bit today and it checks out pretty good. Runs great but I didnt have a chance to cut with it.

The saw has the original bar on it but it is .058 gauge so I didnt have a chain for it but I slapped this 24" Poulan Pro hardnose on it for now. Heck I might just leave it on it.

Thanks for the info on the 405

Someday I will just have it down to my users again I hope. :msp_thumbup:

JJ: Your CAD is in temprary remission and you're in denial. You'll wake up before long and be back over 30 runners by this time next year. :chainsaw:

It appears to be a low usage saw......however the paint job isn't of the best application with over-spray in some "unique" areas and appearing to lack good adhesion. There is chipped off/peeling off of the paint in various places. I'm wondering if that is typical for this saw manufacturing process or due to owner handling!??

Yes that is it. I bought that on ebay and it had a hole punched in it from the chain tensioner. I split the case and welded it up. The saw did not appear to have seen alot of use before it was damanged, and it runs very well. It is all stock for now except I left the base gasket out before assembly.

That sure looks like a Dayton branded Poulan 5200. You're feeling the STRONG urge to box it up and send it to a certain eccentric old saw nut in Northern California. He won't mind the paint job one bit.:D

Didn't Dayton brand other Poulan models besides the 5200?? :msp_confused:
