Yup. I made another boo boo.

I thought maybe I wanted some of whatever you was on. My buddy just got his Allis painted and I've got a Craftsman 3.7 and the two don't match up good at all.

The saw has the manual and auto oiler on it. Everything else is in good shape. When the saw is running it pours oil out at the oiler hole at the bar. Leaving the saw on the floor afterward there will be a big puddle of oil under it the next day. How can this be fixed or is it worth fixing? If it is the Oiler diaphragm is there anyway to block it off to only use manual oil.
It is actually yellowish orange in what I was told is a teardrop shape. It is a top handle. It says S25 PRO on the recoil decal. On the starting instructions it says "Type I" and then has a serial #.
Can anyone tell me about this since all I have found are the S25 DA's.
Larry
Probably looks something like this one. This is basicaly the same as other S25DA's, just newer, and in Poulan Pro colors. Only thing that looks different, would be this model has an extended bar/clutch cover, that also covers the muffler.
Gregg,
great saws and pic.. is that all your land in the back ground?very cool!
Give them time. I live on 120 achre farmette with half woods half fields and my neighbors are a pain.... Most of them are Amish. The rest are the worst..... Family. :msp_razz:LOL, Well the field right behind is, but not the tree line in the distance. Lucky to live here though, 160 acres, with two woodlots. One is 16 ac. the other 10ac. Can actually run saws, shoot guns, etc. and the neighbors don't complain. At least not YET!:hmm3grin2orange:

That sounds like a Wagner family reunion.LOL, This summer, my sisters family was visiting. My brother in law, two nephews, all love to shoot. Couple other folks were there too. We shot all kinds of guns for about 3 hours, on a Sunday afternoon. At the end, someone suggested we all load em up and empty them as fast as we could. We had all kinds of semi auto pistols, along with my M1 carbine, all puking their mags at the same time. Never did see a Sheriff's car or no one called to complain. Maybe they were to scared to complain.

I need to get into the shed to check for the clutch cover extension.
Does anyone know of a website that has the Poulan models by manufacture date? This is pushing it but how about serial #s?.
Larry
There ain't no such animal that several of us have been able to find!!!
It seems like the Poulan folks back then though they were only making TOOLS and not something a bunch of "green blooded geeks" would be collecting in the future!!!

EZRYDER,
I found another pic of my PP S25DA, Shows the right side cover.
A lot of the yellow Poulan Pro saws will usually have a date on a tag somewhere on them. The older green Poulan saws, not so much. Best you can do is, usually narrow it down to within a couple years or so. At least some of the smarter fellows here can.:msp_thumbup:
Gregg,
21 Days
And a "wake up" til the
Poulan GTG
