About time you posted in your own site man

Northern Tool has some major pull. Honda Power Equipment is the same way. No internet sales other than through Northern Tool. I think its a joke having them in Lowe's but not through the internet. They say its so the local dealer won't get hurt. Putting them in a box store didn't hurt them? What a joke. What is the difference in purchasing through the internet or through Lowe's? Taxes? So they can put the chain on backwards for you? To put the oil in one tank and straight gas in the other tank? My good friend services Lowe's and this is what you get. Internet sales are no different.

POST MORE OFTEN MAN...we need to hear from the guy that got us all hooked.....

I couldn't agree more!

No Internet sales Hmmm.
This is going to lead to price increase.
Don't realy care what lowes sells. You can buy a Stihl at a Ace hardware.

Stihl already put their prices up - the other can now tuck in behind...:biggrinbounce2:

Only some ACE's - they are independents - not a chain...

EFCO sales will BOOMMMMMMMMMM!

I havent received anything from Husky about this.

I did notice in their new program that they had * by everything, and in small print at the bottom said * = Husquvarna minimum advertised prices. Basically not to go under.

But our Rep. is new and doesnt know his a$$ from a hole in the ground so I doubt he will be of much help to me.

I swear they train them that way.....personal opinion only

Maybe WalMart will be getting the whole line in vending machines outside the store...:hmm3grin2orange:

Dang it Pest I thought the news would motivate some of our old dealers to get their old Husky signs out and patch the bullet holes and hang them out front again. But ya ruined all that.

Vender machine isnt a bad idea I guess. siezed a Husky on Sunday, new one same day?

That is interesting

I use the other brand of saw anyway. As for getting it all goofed up by helpful professionals... The user can do that just fine. It would seem that plenty of folks (including me) have an aversion to reading the operating instructions! It is just a saw right? Runs on gas, right?

My Stihl dealer makes sure the thing starts, runs, cuts, idles, Even makes sure that the brake works. I would suppose that there are Husqvarna dealers out there would do the same.

Somebody else did say that they are franchised. Not that all are qualified, but there are many that are. Some of the best shops happen to be an ACE. I am sure some of the worst shops could be too. It will just depend on the management.

I hope this isnt true because at end of month/first of Feb. I plan on purchasing a Husky 345 for $248 and that inclues a free chain and etc, compared to the 299.99 price tag(without a free extra chain and +sales tax!) at Tractor Supply Company in my local town!

It would be a good way for Husqvarna to give Stihl some serious competition again. It would be real good for their dealers. Some people might actually want to deal Husky, if they start treating the dealer right as does Stihl.

It won't be long all we'll be able to buy is Chinese saws anyway, like everything else. I am not loyal to any name. Been thinking about a big Dolmar anyway.:D

At least some of the parts of all the majors are made in third world countries some specific models the whole thing is
