lol nightly news only wants stories to create a frenzy... helping inner city youths do something positive is not news worthy!!!
copenhagen snuff. the real ****.
There are times when I can't believe people pay me to climb high and bomb down big pieces. This trade is such a rush.
Olidirty! I see you got the Howard Deane thing goin on now eh??
Nice!
i do have to admit that i have some fun at work.
we are back. got in around 230 last night. nothing like working all day and then hanging around till 830 to leave the city.
met some good dudes out there. the head tree guy of the park, josh is one of them.
a couple quality companies were there but i think they all head to step up their game when we rolled in. we brought the safety oriented high production mentality in and did our thing.
overall, it may have been one of the best experiences a treeguy could have. climbing trees and running equipment inside the gates of NYC's central park is something i doubt i will ever forget or take for granted. i do believe some of what we did brought our company even closer together as friends and colleagues.
we took a ride one night into the city and saw ellis island, the statue of liberty, the uss intrepid, times square, the empire state building, and ground zero. it was a long night but worth the loss of sleep.
overall experience? A+.

now get on a plane and go do it everywhere. you too might become a showoff.
and don't get me started on the groupies, women dig treeclimbers with a rap.
Tslayer, this is just a question and not a dig, but why do you go all over the US to do tree work? No tree companies in VA satisfy you with a challenge? Seems like if you find a good gig, you would stay around a little longer?
OD, keep up the good work. Go big or go home. Good to see that crane used to it's full potential.
Justin your not still here are you?.
I prefer contract climbing, getting to go places. for now, anyway.
I am self employed, licensed and insured for 2 mil. and i can sell work like nobodies business. and I get paid for what I do
