I have a 14 year old HS 80 hedge trimmer with a blown big end bearing. The rest of the unit is in functional shape. Plastics are faded but sound. P&C appear to be in good shape. Mostly want to see parts go somewhere besides the dump.

What are you looking to get for the whole thing shipped to 98230?
Do you have any idea what it would cost to ship to Canada from California? I suspect it would be prohibitively expensive.

As best I can tell, the package would cost close to $40 to ship. That's if I send every thing including the blade (36 inches long, making for a big package). Are you still interested?

Is it worth it to fix or is it roached? Just want one around the house to do the hedges
I really doubt it is worth fixing unless you can find a bargain on a new crankshaft. As I mentioned above, the big end brg let go.
