picked up an partner 400 sat. for 50 bucks.. its in good shape but ill need and tentioner..
the point of the post is ive owned the partner 500 and now the 400..
they are from another time.. but are
as good an fast as todays super saws..
i just wonder why they dont get more attention..ive owned other saws from the time these saws were made[echo etc] .. while they were good saws ,, in the cutting speed dept ,they really werent in the same league ,from my experience..
altho my loyalty is always to the 028 due to its durability and good performance..
but it would not match a 500 in cutting speed..just my observations..
