I don't know if they are all the same (I've heard some P100's had a different mount) but my PM1000 uses a D176 mount like the 10 Series and 600 Series saws. The oil passage is through the upper "adjuster" hole, you can see in your photo that the groove intersects the hole for the oil to pass though.

Looking at my saw, I am guessing that piece of aluminum is just a heat shield/reflector to keep some cylinder heat away from the top cover. I also see that I am missing a clip...



That ring sort of looks like the piece that engages the spring on the starter pulley. If it were missing from yours the recoil would not work. Can't help much with that request.

hi Mark. I looked at my bar again just now. had scraped out the grooves but had not realized that there are big passages from the grooves all the way down to the 2 holes above and below the bar stud slot that were plugged with black grunge. still, this is way different than most bars that have small holes right at the slots. so, with this bar, the oil would have to go into the bottom slot only instead of the top slot. I looked at D176 bars online just now and they seem to oil the top slot. need to look at one of my other MAC bars when I get home.

D176 definitely has too small a gap for 8mm pins / I have it on Homelite SXLAO / The P100 has a large assembly from the large Husqvarna D009 The studs I have, if I remember correctly, are 3/8" and 9.5mm

found this pic of the D176 from my SP70. it has the normal oil hole that goes into the side of the upper slot adjacent to the oil pump outlet. so the big bar I just bought a new chain for is obviously not a D176 bar. crap. it says McCulloch on it, wonder what it went to?

The oiler outlet is on the top of the bar pad, oil is pumped into the top groove. The classic D176 bars did not have the oiler hole on top, those came in later editions.

hadn't crossed my mind. Glide Oregon to the Florida gulf coast would be an expensive trip. whatcha got? BTW, I grew up in North Bend.

Oh wow, my parents lived at Lakeside for a few years. Almost neighbors.
I have a running P100. Needs seals. It has a little patina, but not busted up. I should probably get about $275 plus shipping. I use Pirate Ship, and it helps some. I will send pics if you have any interest.

good morning. looking for a few parts for my PM1000/P100.

1. 2 chain plates. Partner #262080. mine came with plates but pretty sure not the right ones. one of them looks homemade.
2. oil tank plug. NOS or very good condition. mine is working but hammered. looks like it's made of lead or something.
3. all parts for chain brake.

The McCulloch PM1000 models came with different bar plates then the Partner P100 did so they could be sold with McCulloch style bars.

The Mac bars were like the one you pictured and did not have seperate oiler holes as the adjuster holes were open to the bar groove so the oiler fed through the adjuster holes.

It's been a while since I had these apart and especially side by side but the bar plate you show looks like the
PM1000 version as the upper slot for the oil is lower then the ones on the partner branded saws that used a Husqvarna bar.

My two guides are so old that hardly anyone can decipher the markings I also have a Chinese one that would also fit, The third one is SNB made in Norway
