These sealants are very hard to fit, corrosion holds them together. The outer side of the sealant is steel. I saw a set of pullers once, maybe someone can recommend some?

Take a punch and drive the seal in just a bit to break it loose. Sometimes if i have room I use a tiny drill bit and drill a hole in the seal, then put a metal screw in it then pry it up and out.
I'll try, but it seems that the metal ring is only on the outside and is thin, maybe I can screw it in

good morning. looking for a few parts for my PM1000/P100.

1. 2 chain plates. Partner #262080. mine came with plates but pretty sure not the right ones. one of them looks homemade.
2. oil tank plug. NOS or very good condition. mine is working but hammered. looks like it's made of lead or something.
3. all parts for chain brake.

here is a pic of the chain plates I have.

this split ring was left over when I put the recoil starter back together. I thought it went between the rope pulley and the spring, but it doesn't seem to belong anywhere. the starter is working without it but has me a bit worried. this ring is not shown in either the PM1000 or P100 IPL's in the starter assembly.
