Okay fellas, I finally managed to get the digital camera fired up again, and snapped a few phots of the McCulloch 1-76 I mentioned in here several weeks ago. The first photo is a left hand side view, with my Pro-Mac 10/10S along side as a size reference. The second shot is of the top, which shows the air fiter cover I obtained through Bob's in New York State (boy that guy is great to deal with for McC parts! :D ). The third and final view is of the right hand side, showing the starter and muffler. Do any of you guys recognize the bar on that saw? I'm fairly certain it is an aftermarket part, due to the lack of McCulloch id stamped anywhere and also that it is a 42" bar, a size not offered on that saw originally.
 
Very impressive. though I fail to see the need for a helper handle on that saw configured as it is. must just be me unable to figure that one out.

It could have been used with an Alaska Mill or something of that sort.

Those saws are in nice shape Gearhead.

thats a possiblity I didnt think of, but you're right, it could have been.
