No I do not yet.

Yet is the word to follow though! LOL If the right one comes my way you never know.

To be honest, the Pioneers were not found in my area to speak of.

That don't mean I don't have a appreciation of them and I look to learn more about them.

I have been in the works on dealing on a bulk lot of old saws and there happen to be a few Pioneers in that lot, so who knows, if it works out, I may have a few more to learn about.

Ok fellas to get started here is a file listing of what I have in the Pioneer IPL's and Manuals. I think I counted 73 Ipls.

Soon as I get the bulletins scanned I will be sending these to Chris and anyone else that lets me know. I know Chris will get these in the right hands.

As you may have guessed, you have all the files that I have. :D

Since I have so little to share in terms of Pioneer documents, I will offer to go through everyone's files and sort them.

Duplicates will be deleted (with the best image resolution ones kept), files will be renamed to accommodate different versions, etc., and I will sort them into folders (manuals, TSBs, IPLs, etc).

Once the sorting is complete I will upload the files and provide links.

The end result will be that we will have one location for all of our collective files and they will be sorted, with naming conventions that make it easy to look for and find the file(s) that you seek.

One question: I have some Clymer service info. Should I scan the info and include the documents in the "Service Manual" folder? They will be named something like: "Pioneer 650 Clymer Service Info."

Well, I only got about half of those IPL's from you, the other half are the ones I just scanned. The Dealer manual that I just got through with didn't have but a few of the same ones from you. I tried to name the files for easy sorting, the best my feeble mind can do anyway.

That sevice manual that I list is one complete volume of manuals. So I would think that you may want to keep any other service manuals seperate.

To be honest it looks like the Clymer service info may have been lifted from this type of service manual. Lets just say I have seen lots of better factory service manuals then what Pioneer gave there dealers to work with.

Chris

Chris,So then if I am reading this correctly you will sort through what we have to offer, and post all the information to a specific location where we can view it?Are we leaving it up to you to ask for specific information from the person that has it?Now at this information location can we transfer all the information to a CD?
Thanks Lawrence

Pioneer Manuals and Info

It is nice to see the photos of the restored Pioneer by Aviator, An excellent job, well done.
I have been following the thread regarding sharing Pioneer info and this has my interest as well. The are a lot of parts lists available on line at Rottmans website as well as others. I have a couple of binders of IEL and Pioneer chainsaw owners manuals (operating intructions/parts lists). The oldest is for the model K (New Model L )about 25 different models up to the 850. After that the 4 digit series and P series manuals don't have the colour and collectability in my opinion. Still nice to have for the info. Scanning manuals is a lot of work and sharing files is a great idea

Manuals

So, I am not sure if this is what Chris and you other Pioneer fans had in mind, but I will list my IEL and Pioneer material and if you would like something scanned and sent on to Mark or Chris or whoever is going to put this all togeather.Frankly I don't think I have the computer skill's to do the whole thing but will contibute to the whole package by scaning anything I have for the greater good.So here is a start to what I have.

That is what we are looking for to kick this thing off. :D

You can scan those document and email them to me a cjcocn at gmail.com.

I will convert everything I receive to a high resolution pdf file and go through the process of sorting, naming, etc.

After that is complete I will upload everything to a file hosting site and provide the participants with a list of download links.

Once you have the links you can save the files to your computer and/or upload them to the hosting site of your choice so that you have guaranteed access to them.
