Are you sure it is a 525, that is one model that I have not heard of?

It is actually a PRO 525, It does not say it is a Pioneer, but it resembles my
P 61 so I assumed.....

Alot newer than my P 61, and not the lime green more of a orange.

I worked late last night or I would have taken a pic, hopefully tonight.

I kinda figured it must be a Poulan, got to know what carb is on it? If it has the Walbro WJ carb then the kits are ,K10-WJ for just the diaphragms and gaskets or the D10-WJ for a complete rebuild kit.

Poulan????

WOW, when I hear of Poulan I think of the "wild thing" saws, not my big 525

Did Poulan buy Pioneer? and then stop making the parts?

I will check and see what carb is on her tonight.
Thanks soo much for all your help!!!

That is what happened to Pioneer, they were bought up by Poulan and the saws were known as Poulan Pro while they were still built. Then Poulan got bought out by E Lux and that line of saws were dropped.

Jerry your on the right track and my memory needs jogged from time to time, but actually Elux was the one that bought Pioneer and they were merged with Partner for a little while.

Elux also bought Poulan and it seems that Poulan inherited some of the Pioneer remnants whey they were closed for good. At least thats the way I understand it.

I can give dates but I would have to look them up again.

got new saws today a P51 and a P41
P51 goes but has been beaten to death, and P41 no coil I will just put them on display

Cool... Are you sure its not a P50? It has the older P50 cover, of course somebody could have swapped it. Does it have a de-comp?

Hi guys, I am need of some cash for a transmission at the moment, would anyone be interested in buying a mint P52 Plus? I hate to sell any of my saws, but priorities are priorities. Guaranteed to be the jewel of your P-series collection. Send me a P.M. if interested.
Brendon.

Oh man, you're killing me.

I'm not even gonna waste your time asking how much, too nice for my budget.
Beautiful saw, shame you have to sell it.:(:(

Desperate times call for desperate measures although if I can't sell it to a bona fide collector, I won't sell it. I know there are a few guys on here who know the value of this gem. I should mention it has a 3/8 36" Oregon bar and chain which is the way it was sold at the dealer. This saw may have been run for only one day. All original, nearly perfect.

beautiful....Nice. I'm not sure of the FMV, but seems like a very fair price, after thinking for moment, I might add...
