Happy New Year! These are some of my favorite saws. I just recently got the Pioneer IPL's and such, haven't really had a chance to go through them yet. If there is some info you guys are looking for, let us know and we'll figure out how to get you a copy. It would be nice to find top end parts for the 455, 62HP, and the 655, as those are saws that I don't intend of ever letting go of. I haven't seen any late model Stihl or Husky that can even come close in stock trim to cutting with the 455 or the 655. I'd also like to find some Boyesen reeds for stash too, if anybody knows where some might be. Does BP stand for big piston? I guess you'd have to cut with it to actually know. I would say that it is a male thing, except that anything that screams like that and chews you to shreds with no remorse whatsoever isn't male!:hmm3grin2orange:
I was looking at the specifications for the P26 51cc with a listed weight for the power head of 9 LBS 10 OZ is this correct or just optimistic BS ? Under 10 pounds for a 50cc saw, that's a pound lighter then the Stihl 026 most 50cc saws from that era were in the 12~13 pound range. Any one have one they can put on a scale and verify ?
