I s'pose I could make time to break in that grey-timmed one in for you. I'd get some pitch on it and get some paint wore off it to give it that 'savvy' look. But only if that's what you want.

Steve, I checked the fiber shoe drum, it measured 2 3/4". It would not lock around the break band. The metal shoe drum is 3". Measure yours just in case, but I don't think they made a larger fiber shoed drum. I can send you a complete metal shoe clutch with the cover if you have the smaller one.

I don't need anything for the parts. Most likely I still owe you. ;)

Your Aces bud, let me measure that clutch tonight. You owe me nothing my friend. Scoot

My PM's won't send for some dumb reason. So "TeeeBone " thanks for the offer on parts but you hold on to them for yours.I've heard about how you run a saw you may need them.:msp_scared::msp_scared:

Your send may be failing because your PM box may be full. It is made up of you 'Inbox' and 'sent' messages.

Here's a P45 I picked up about 6-8 months ago. It needed a new top end. I finally found the NOS piston and cylinder. I might mill the jug some. Without a gasket, the squish is .026. This saw is 72cc and has a 3rd "boost" transfer.

Your saws are way too purty. P45 is one of my favorite saws ever - I'm saving the two beaters I have for when I get old. Next month I'll only be 62, and that's not old enough, so I'll have to keep running my bigger saws.

Here's a low hour Poulan 455... same as Pioneer P45. I got the saw from member SilverKing. He's a great guy, the saw is better than he made it to be. The piston and rings still have the machine marks. I found the new bar on ebay. 72cc with a factory 3rd transfer.

The problem with these Poulan branded Pioneers is I never know what thread to put them in. So I did both.
