650 project restoration, completed recently, all these saws were complete teardowns and rebuilt with mostly new parts.

Very nice work, makes them really show up.
I have never been able to keep a restored 650 here with me, seems every Pioneer collector wants a restored 650. I still have a couple of runners, one may get a restore and become a shelf Queen.

A little help to identify this one ? He says its a 650 but no tag on it . I have bought several saws from him . Going to his place the weekend of 3-24 if anyone is interested .

What model Tilly carb is on it , should be same as 620S if it has not been swapped out. Rim or spur type on Drum.

The Gas cap is incorrect and colour on Handle wrap is off , all these parts though are interchangeable.

Are their 2 rivit holes or 4 rivit holes in the Fan housing?

Speaking of the 600 series . I found a source for the Fairbanks Morse fibre washers .

Serial # 1409142. Carb is a HL129A. Clutch looks like a spur. 4 bumper rubbers on the cyl cover. 1 tag on side with serial # No other rivit holes.

Color and top cover say its a 650, the 620 and 620 Super were more yellow in color. The 650 was in production for the longest time period.

Looks to me like a 620S or 650 based on the carb, carb is originnal, lt looks like a complete repaint though. The sprocket has been replaced if it was a 650 or 620S

I have 2 600's already so no . But glad to help anyone that wants it (compression check , shipping ect). He also has 2 p41's for sale . I might get one of them . I dont know where this guy comes up with all the saws he finds. Cuts no wood and lives in an apartment! He's into the thrill of buying and selling I guess. Another load .LOL
