I was surprised how much traction the turf tires had on a smaller unit, but they didn't do well in mud.

Which kubota do you have again.
I don't know anyone that has them.

I could have got them on my new Kubota for about $450 more money, but I didn't want them as I much prefer AG tires.

My previous 27hp Cub Cadet had huge turf tires on the rear with R4's on the front. I ran chains on the rears during the Winter because they had no traction in the snow.

Don't doubt that, I didn't use them in the snow at all.
In the gravel pit out back the turf tires had way more traction than the R4's on the newer one, so much so that I almost swapped them out, but I wanted the shinny rims that came on the newer one lol.

Here Is my 572XP all cleaned up with a newly modded muffler and my TsuMura 24" bar with a new full C83 square toothed chain on it. I think that there might be a shock cushion on the right rear side missing. #4 picture.The lower right front corner has one on the pin located there. I did beadblast the clutch cover and painted it.

Did you run it at all before the mods, how's it compare. I'm thinking that cleaned up clutch cover had to add a good bit .
Those covers also fit the 372's and their jred cousins. I think they look great o the jreds; not so much on the 372's. They sure are nice with the captured nuts, but I don't think they flow chips nearly as well, the 2 series saw seemed to do a great job with the chips.

For what little I've used it, I like it, we will see how it goes this summer when I do some work with it.

Until then, I may have to dream up some work for it, just to get some hours on it. lol

I ran the saw before I bought it but not in wood. I do have a slightly used 372xp oe to compare it to this saw. The side cover was all scratched up. I blasted the outside and painted it. I love the captured nuts on the 5 series saws. This saw is supposed to flow the chips out better than the 372xp saws. I goofed up. I should have checked the squish on the saw while I had it apart. If it was a lot, I could have fixed it. The hole with the pin that looks like something is missing sure is. There is supposed to be a deflection limiter in that hole. I'll order it tomorrow.

You just may have a torn meniscus in your knee. Years ago our Pitbull mix clotheslined my knee with her steel cable run. She snapped my knee sideways tearing the meniscus in my right knee. I had to have the loose flap removed. Then I tore it up again at work. After the 2nd clean out my knee was worse than before the surgery. I did some research and found out about the gel shots. They are painless.

Got home from work and my boys had snowmobiles dragged out from all over. Glad they’re working on them again.

Nothing goes in that hole from the pin in the handle to the crankcase casting. It's just so you don't over flex the iso mounts.
