So looking at those $$ it would be cheaper to by an R model right... thats if you were buying a new saw of course.

I agree and that is the frustrating part. The "R" model is only $50 more at my local dealers. I dont see why they even order the standard model... I will never buy a standard model again or buy a saw from the dealer that sold me the standard model.

Hello all, newb here just wanted to put my 2 cents in. I wish that I would have had those p/n for the side cover n wrap handle a week ago. Ordered everything all together was around 200 with my buddy letting me have the parts at cost! :msp_sneaky: Wanted to add this though cause I saw someone asking about d.p. Mufflers. Stihl d.p. cover is p/n is 1128 140 0801. Got that from my buddy Madhatte! That 460 looks great, im looking forward to posting some pics of my 440 makeover when I figure out how

The issue with us here in the East, is that Stihl does not supply them to the dealers, therefore most dealers don't even know of the option. If I wanted an R model, they would have to order it from a western supplier.
