I bought a 395, 372, 200T used, I bought the 346 new. I had good luck with all of them. But I want to change them out this year with new. You think the 346 is a better saw than the 362? The 346 looks to be a bit lighter..

The 362 is heavy for its power output keep the little husky and get all the other stihls

all i can really tell you about a 346xp is it weighs the same as my 350, its built better, revs higher and has more power, so say my dealer, who has always been very straight with me to the point of talking me out of buying saws, and i _love_ my 350, it was a trade for a notch and drop i did like 3 years ago, homeowner hadnt even run one tank through it when i got it, ive run the hell out of it, and aside from one of the motor mounts stripping out, which is apparently a common problem that husky has brass inserts to repair, and the wire for my kill switch breaking once ive had no problems with it and i run the piss out of it
it pulls my 18" bar and aggressive chain through any wood like a hot knife through butter
come time i need to replace it im getting a 346xp
ive never liked the 36 and the new 441 is anything but impressive, the 460 is almost twice the saw without being noticeably heavier

460 cant go wrong

one other thing i do notice about my 350 is it seems much more subject to weather and temp, i adjust the idle on it more then any of my other saws
but it always starts good, and its very nimble and well balanced, i spend a lot of time with it in a tree
if youre used to running stihls huskys start a little different, and after youre accustomed, easier, but i do see a lot of stihl guys struggle to make a husky go

4 plus the stihl extendable pole pruner because my husky one sucks worse than anything I've ever seen.

I just ditched my Stihl pole pruner for an Echo.:msp_scared: Yeah I know it's an Echo. I have a good friend who has been beating the S hiite out of his with two extensions and I have to say I am impressed. I bought the ppt 280 2 weeks ago have used it daily with the 4 ft extension and am psyched I ditched my Stihl.4 matic is nice, but I didn't get the life from it.

Yeah same here on that Bozo. I have been harassing him for 6 months or so. F him. He is lost thinking his old equipment is worth that much. I would really like that rear mount myself though.

If you've got the extra $350 for it go for it! I agree it is nearly twice the saw.

Already made that determination!

I've been looking for a rear mount to add to the fleet, everybody wants WAY TOO MUCH dough. Funny that they cost more than a full forestry package of the same year LOL.....

Why you sell it

I wanted a diesel, and something a little more pleasing to the eye. Plus, the GMC was on the verge of needing a few grand in up keep work that I wasn't really interested in doing. I got a ridiculous deal on the INT, and it had the boom work, and a fresh rebuilt motor with under 3K hours on it and 50K original miles on the chassis, so it was a no brainer picking it up while I still had the GMC.

Whats a real good used one cost?

Like an aerial lift conn forestry diesel low mileage I would like.

You're going to be in the low to high 20's depending on condition, and where you buy it. If you go to a whitewashing dealer, you'll be high 20's to low to mid 30's.

The truck below is basically what I have, but mine is much nicer, and has had the updated boom work and engine rebuild, that, and 25K less miles on the chassis. This guy started this truck out @ 30K and can't sell it. he's asking 24K for it now
