Better part of two years.
The seller listed the part number but identified the as for a PL7.

Do you still have the numbers for the 990?Set up a saved search on eBay for “Remington & ring part number “ under chainsaw parts & accessories.
Check it every day and it will eventually show up.
That’s how I found new old stock rings for my Super 990.

I have one that i want to bring back to life, got a barley usable piston the the rings broke trying to free them, they were cracked anyway.
The part # is so close to what I need - 65297 for the PL5.I was told that if the saw is only putting out 60 psi that new rings might not be enough to bring it back to running status again.Any truth to that?
picking up an SL4 tomorrow looks good in the photos. $12.50 CDN with a bar and chain!
It can be a shed mate of my PL5picking up an SL4 tomorrow looks good in the photos. $12.50 CDN with a bar and chain!
So, SL4 has great spark, great P&C, great paint except for a little magnesium fuzz and even the sproket looks great. Decent bar and chain. Not bad for $12.50It can be a shed mate of my PL5
Are there still clutch drums for an SL4 available, probably same as the PL5. Mine is well used and I suspect that I will never use this saw for any extended work, but it would be nice to know.
So I'm about to pull the trigger on a Remington Pro 88 (106cc) but I'm wondering if there's any rarity to it?
