You'll whip that idle screw into shape :muscle:.

Or just replace it :D.

Yeah, it's a lousy post; I was looking for an excuse to use the body builder emoticon.

Browse Lombard and Roper models for the Wards identification I would.

Not driving to New Jersey.

Thanks, I'll do some digging. I was thinking PM because of the dovetail design, but only found much earlier (judging by the designs) models at Chain Saw Collectors Corner.

He'll ship it for $50.00 (info in the ad).

That's a very clean saw. Some folks who knows what it really is will most likely run up the bidding.

Got some welded parts back from Shaun just the other day. I sent off a Super 770 case half and both halves of my military 754G. The Super 770 was reassembled this morning with new bearings, seals, rings, case 0-rings, and bushings for the oiler shaft.

The handle/spike mount had been broken in shipping years ago. The spike held it all together but I sure didn't like it.

A shot of Remington's unique center crankcase assembly. This has the longer stroke 88cc motor. I think the early 770s might have used the shorter stroke motor.

Anyone have a spare oiler elbow that screws into the bar area? It's the brass fitting next to the exhaust in the photo. Need one that has a good check valve that doesn't leak. I think any Logmaster would be the same. Looks the same as one on my GP.

I have a junker Pro 88. Let me check if it still has the elbow.

Thanks Chris. Any other usable parts? Also looking for the spring retainer for the air filter cover.
Definitely a no to the last request. I need one for my SL5G bow saw. What else did you need? I'm wanting to keep the motor and the big intake/carb.

Looks like the same elbow as on the 770. Probably the same on most large Remington/Mall saws.
You aren't getting any parts off my 770. That said, I have a junker 754 that is much easier to get at. Let me see what that has later today.

HaHa - had to try. Nah, that 's really not what I meant, I was hoping someone else might have a spare from any other saw. Those are really the only two items I was looking for. I was hoping to find a decent clutch sprocket but I modified one from a big Homelite and it's fine.

Sprocket for a Pro88? That drum is a monster. What homelite part did you use?
