Im a saw buzzard and proud of it. I take it one step further though... I have a "watch list" if a saw catchs my eye..... it and the member go down on a list for future "fishin". As an example, Randy started a thread on SH on scoring a Poulan Pro 655bp months ago, maybe a year ago. I made note of the saw. From time to time, I inquired about the model.... and if a particular one was a good deal etc. Then in Aug, he offered to sell it to me. I didnt have to think for even a sec.... "done deal". I had set the bait months ago, occasionally checked the lure, and when there was a bite... I was ready

it's why I have never touched a cigarette, drug, in my life. I may have a drink once a year, year and a half. I have a very addictive personality. I came to AS looking to up the performance on my only saw.... a 10mm 044 I had had since I was 18. I was hooked. I read in complete silence for a year (never a single post) until I figured out who was who. I contacted Randy about porting my first saw thru email. 47 emails later, he had my saw and was doing a thread... and I made my first post here. It's been non stop since. 25 port jobs. I have 3 that need porting right now and Im anxiously looking forward to trying some new stuff down the line.
