Do U still have it, I don't see it listed! I was 40 when I got mine, and I'm keeping it.

I assume you are talking to me. It's a saw that I let go. I have regretted it ever since. Not regretting it bc of what I got, but regretting it bc I let it go. I traded mdavlee my 044 for the 2153 in my sig. I was switchin over after getting a 288xp and being impressed with it. So I moved the 044. Since then I have had a 241cm, 261cm, 12mm 044, and a real clean 064. I may very well start looking for a mint 10mm 044 in the near future.
Here is videos of my old saw and the one I traded it for.

Here's a couple of shots of a hybrid we're doing too.

We take the time to upgrade the jug bolts to 6mm when we do this conversion....

Its not fair I can only like this post once!

If y'all knew how long I've had that 460 jug stashed in my parts bin, you'd be excited too.

Just wandering what kind of lathe that is? Looks like fun[emoji2][emoji2]

That is a elcheapo Enco 9 X 20.It has had several "upgrades", and does a fine job for what I'm doing on it.

Randy am I getting a glimpse of the New born that is a 064 isn't it ?

Mine or Yours ?

Damn Randy you have your fingers in more holes than a Dr. in one day ! LOL

That is a MS460 Mike......

Steven....Your CAD is Off The HOOK!!!  And, I know what I'm talkin' about too....

Just don't get the whole "cad" deal. I have never seen any other hobby label with " disorder". Granted non of my other friends understand my passion with mucking with saws but they don't think I'm off doing what I do.

Maybe this is my acceptance of why I only need one more saw to complete my "working" collection.

You'll be glad to know that your saw has the "best" jug out of the six that are on my bench. It is a "D" chamber, and has fantastic port timing numbers.

Nice! That genuinely makes my day. Heck, I'm happy the jugs usable. Having the "D"esirable cylinder is a sweet bonus.

I have to admit I'm a little jealous. Lining all the saws up like that just looks like too much fun. If Jon gets sick of testing em out just let me know. I'll take a couple days off and come run the piss (I mean test run) a whole herd of 046's any time you like. I'm not picky, a gaggle of 288xp's would do too.

Oh, this is nuthin' compared to race cars, airplanes, acoustic guitars, fly rods, etc. etc. Just a word not really a disorder. Now PSA, that's legit ;)

Yes Steve I was, and thanks for the reply. Sometimes you don't realize another post will go up before the one you are writing.

Tough call, I'm sure most would like either of them (or better yet, both of them ... hey wait, I think I have some CAD!!!!)

I cut a 70' tall poplar tree into cookies over the last month.
I hear ya' man! With hunting season around the corner, I am going to have to clean up the "proving grounds" lest the neighbors think I have lost all my marbles. I do wonder what they must think of all the piss revving and blipping.
Ah, screw em' it's a free country :chainsaw:

I was kinda wondering; do you have a giant cookie jar for your firewood? I mean, you gotta have a mountain of cookies? No?

We burn them in a pit most of the time. The grandkids love cooking hot dog and making smores over a fire.....

This time of year we let em dry out and burn em for a quick fire to knock the chill off the house.

Looks like stihl week I haven't forgotten to send you those husq parts that told you about I haven't had time randy been trying to exercise the saws and get some firewood cut

I had no idea about there being a D cylinder, turns out mine is one of them. I can tell what it means in the pics, does it make that much of a difference? Is the only change in the combustion chamber, or are the ports different as well?

I'm surprised you only went through 70' in a month! I was in a test log the other day after putting together a 361 and must have made 8' of cookies. I guess I have too much fun lol.
