Thanks to everyone. I had a very good time talking to everyone and watching some very fast saws. Also many thanks to Ralph's family for feeding us. My next purchase will be a tach. My wife pulled 6 ticks off of me today.

Thanks Brad for the proof of real world weights as the saws would be used with fuel oil and 16" b+c's that Ralph was doing at the gtg on the scales.

Kevin thanks for letting me run your blue Dolmar, it ran real well, as did all your saws.

Derek all I can say is wow.:jawdrop:

I'd also like to thank Brad for helping me set the carb on my 5100, it's running much better now, thank you.

I found two ticks on the way home, and yes it gave me the heebie-jeebies.

I'd like to thank Eddie for taking some pics and for coming with me, he's not into saws like all of us, but he was a good sport about it.

Now for some more pics.

Derek running his 880. I like the look on Jerry's face.

Wow! Nice pics everyone, and great pic site Brad. Can't wait to get to one of these GTGs.

Ralph, you must have some serious mowing equipment to maintain your property!

Hey, did anyone with a cam happen to get any video of me runnin the husky? I know ralph didint but i couldnt keep track of who all had a cam in there hand was nearly impossible. Let me know:)

Man I wish the Homies ran as good as they sound. I'll have a saw or 2 ordered up shortly this yr. A friend of mine has a 925xl and says its pretty healthy. Would have loved to have had it there to see how it stacked up.

I came to the conclusion the SXL is very close to the Stihl 361 but nothing larger. That Husky 395xp is on my list!!

I'm going to have to start stock piling logs for a GTG. Maybe in the fall at my place. I'm pretty centraly located to many who were at this one.

I've got a great log cradle.;)

To all of the guys and gals that were cutting cookies at the GTG, You all are responsible for my trip to the Stihl shop in Maysville today. All that Tyler has talked about this week is wanting his own saw to cut with, so he and I went and picked up the new MS170 today. Just like Ralphs (the one that he was too shy to run). Anyway he said that it had to be just like Ralphs. Ordered the smallest chaps that they could get and I will still have to find a way to strap them up high on him somehow. Ill try to get a few pics of him with his new saw when the chaps arrive. Oh yeah, looks like you guys will have him as competition at the next meet.

Thanks Ian, Im having a hard time keeping him away from it for now. All I heard on the way home was " Can we cut some logs when we get home dad." Anyways the chaps will be here Monday or Tuesday according to the dealer, then we will cut some logs. Im just as excited as he is, I think.

WOW, you talking about the 10 year old that was with you?
My just turned 11 dont want nothing to do with my saws, He thinks I am just LOCO :crazy1:
Have fun and cut safe and 4 fun.:D

Very cool. I wish I had a son to do stuff like this with me. Did he see the pic I got of him in the back of your truck?

Yes. Hes looked at your entire set of pictures (and everyone elses too) from the GTG. Your picture of him is now the background pic on our computer.

Very true. My wife has suggested trying to find pictures of chainsaw mis-haps on the net so that he can see what can happen. Im sure that I can come up with something.
