Very true. My wife has suggested trying to find pictures of chainsaw mis-haps on the net so that he can see what can happen. Im sure that I can come up with something.

Red food coloring mixed with corn syrup or something similar in a zip lock bag and fresh ham meat, stuffed into a pair of jeans. cut that area should open the eyes of the danger at hand.

To all of the guys and gals that were cutting cookies at the GTG, You all are responsible for my trip to the Stihl shop in Maysville today. All that Tyler has talked about this week is wanting his own saw to cut with, so he and I went and picked up the new MS170 today. Just like Ralphs (the one that he was too shy to run). Anyway he said that it had to be just like Ralphs. Ordered the smallest chaps that they could get and I will still have to find a way to strap them up high on him somehow. Ill try to get a few pics of him with his new saw when the chaps arrive. Oh yeah, looks like you guys will have him as competition at the next meet.

now if he really wants to be cool he needs some stihl gloves. I've heard they make you cut faster..... anyhow, he has some reading in that manual to do while he waits on the chaps.

Yup, remember that Stihl shop/Radio Shack I was telling you about Ralph? Got the grand tour of the place today. The guys actually have a pretty nice set-up there. They stock everything from the 170 through the 660. Plenty of accesories and parts on hand too. I didnt buy my 361 from him but he said that he would be more than happy to do any warranty work to it if it ever needs it. Thanks for the kind words about my boy!!!

I stopped in at the new ace hardware/stihl shop the other day. had a line from the 170 to the 441, minus a 200/200T, 260, 280. biggest they had was that funky 441. seemed nice, will be cool to have a decent shop here close.
hada good line of trimmers and such too. good price on a blower (I need another one) BG 55 for 150$ minus a few bucks discount.

Ralph If I hadnt seen the 2 timed cut clocks today, I wouldnt have believed how fast you made them 2 cuts with the 357 in the 60cc under class.
Pretty bad when you get whipped by someone else running your own saw.

Excellent pictures, might want to get him some steel toed boots just for extra safety.
