Trying to get into the big cube Dolmar club for a while now. Seams to be easier in most other brands :bang:. Have come in a close second on MANY 166 auctions but as we all know, first loser doesn't get the prize. Last Thursday a friend alerted me to a 133 on craigslist so I called the gentleman, made a deal on our word and off to Wisconsin I headed for the weekend. Yesterday I called him back and wouldn't ya know, he held onto the saw and his word. Not a 166 but I'm happy.....for now.

Also drug that new 5105 heated back from Wisconsin this weekend.

@ Mark I believe you have a 133. What do you think of it?

Looks like a very clean 133 you got.
They are a very nice saw with lots of
torque for an 85cc saw.

Congrats.

Lee

Thanks, Lee

It is in amazing shape. Paint still on the "belly" and machine marks still on the piston. Sure could use a decomp. Some day I will divert a 166 from making it to the east coast LOL

I can't complain really. Had the opportunity to run a couple 166's and one in Mac dress. Now if I could only find a green one.........

Honestly? I like it.

I really havent had alot of cutting time with it at all though. I did get a real education on its construction though as I had to rebuild this one from the case up. I wasnt that thrilled with some of the ways Dolmar put it together as far as working on it goes.

I also forgot to weigh it when I was done but never the less I know its a heavy one for its displacement. As far as power, I only have a 24" bar on it but its pretty healthy.

That one of yours sure looks like a nice one!

Mine still needs a better recoil cover and the chainbrake parts.

It "feels" much heavier than that. A reduced weight bar should correct the balance:hmm3grin2orange:

You guys are making me drool with all of these nice old Dollys. Makes me and my 9010 feel a little inadequate. That's a nice saw you have there Mark.

I was shocked when I seen that myself. It does feel heavier then that but the scale dont lie. I was guessing close to 18lbs...
