Hey SD guys.............this is page 116 of the SD thread. Post pics of your SD116's. The next several pages should have pics of the corresponding models...........all the way through 166 I'm guessing....:D

I'll wait till we get to page 153 and 166.:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:

Uncle Lee

Ah come on Uncle Lee.............you've gotta post a pic or two of your SD120's when the right page comes along. Maybe a 'group idling' video like you've done with your SD166's....

Thanks for the offer. I'd buy it from you and swap it with the 28" on my 166 but I just never cut wood that big. I was thinking of 24" to 28" as you are.

Bah. The SD166 is a GTG/fun/showin' off saw. Get Mark's 36" bar, put it on the SD166, and put the 28" on the SD133. I dare you to do it Randy...:D

Whoops, getting a good case if CRS. I got my bars mixed up and that one I thought was a 36 is not a 36. Its a 32". That Poulan mount I have was the 36".

Maybe I better keep it, as I can always put a 3/8's tip on it.

I use this ole girl mostly for noodllin' big rounds.

pulls a 33" fine noodling 20-24 inch long rounds.

It wears a 24" when it draws stumpin' duty.

damitalltohell,

can't take credit for that double barreled mod.

It came with the saw,

I can however take credit for this one;

I find they are a less expensive when they are a different colour. This ugly old 152 was embarrasingly cheap. I love it that people think Poulans are rubbish.:msp_biggrin: It has been under the bench for nearly six months now and I haven't go to it. Perhaps Christmas I will find some time.

You can send it in my direction, Al. I find I have an opening and I do like the color. :msp_biggrin:

Wow I don't see many with the hand guard still intact. Nice saw.

I was just lucky with this one - it seems it has never been used much and has sat in a shed for most of its life. Usually when I find a nice collectable saw it has been used professionally and is about worn out. I did pick up a nice low hour 6000i the other day. I just put a 120Si top end on it and nice muffler from Randy. I guess I could use some 6800i decals too.
Will post up some pics soon.

Since I haven't the cash for this anyhow, I felt it was only right that perhaps another fellow Dolmar enthusiast should get a chance at this one.

Seems like a pretty sweet saw.

Sachs Dolmar 153 Chainsaw | eBay

I have been watching that auction since it popped up. Someone finally put a single bid on it! So whos on the forum with the ebay name of o***e??

It keeps me motivated about my dolmar 153 freebie sitting on the bench waiting for someone to let go of some parts!! HINT-HINT:msp_wink:
