They were a couple pages back.... Looks to have a few hours on it.

Very nice 133, guess I missed those picts when I was away. It should be worth whatever these saws bring in good condition. I picked one up in similiar condition for $300. and thought that was a good price. In my estimation your saw should be worth somewhere between $300.-$500 depending what you can work out with someone interested in buying one.

Right about what I was aiming for.

Thank you very much. I'll visit the classifieds.

Question I picked up a 5100s and found it high idle speeds if the start lever is switched to the start position after being turned off.

On my 5105 it goes high idle only when you fully choke it. I'm going to look at them side by side now and see if I can tell any difference but maybe the two are different desing to begin with on the choke operation:msp_unsure:

SO basically on this 5100s I shut it off (flipped lever up) then flipped it down one nothc and it then fast idles, it still has one more postion donwward which shows it being choked if that makes sense.

I trimmed the limiters and am trying to tach it but the E-Z tach just plain sucks:msp_ohmy: I can't get a consistent reading. I guess I'm going to have to pony up for a fast tach. Should have never bought the cheap one:mad:

Disregard my question I just looked at the saw and see the problem

I was looking at the start, stop sticker and it was installed upside down! So when I thought it was choked it was off since I was going off the sticker:banghead:

Notice the stickers? DUH no wonder it didn't seem right to me when I tried starting it in the off position

We're all creatures of habit and thats what happens when one runs many saws from different manufacturers. Especially when Dolmar and Stihl switches are mirror opposites.

Are you trying to attract more bidders? ;)

NOPE! Just proud of my new saw I'm going to win. I thought this was a safe sight to talk about it. :bang:

BTW, I have a winning bid on another Makita 6401 also. I won't mention which one.

You pretty much assured yourself of getting someone to bid against you ...

Picking out which 6401 you're winning isn't any challenge at all ..

Nothing wrong with being proud of a new saw.. but first make sure you have it in your hands and it is what you expected.

It was mine.

.. Other than very minor chips and scratches, that saw is in rediculously nice shape. It only had a little wear on the sprocket and it ran like freakin crazy. Hope the new owner rocks it hard.

Out of curiosity, how much was a 133 new?

Pss... Thanks a lot for the info on this saw when I got it. It was very helpful.
