ive seen one of those in action before. i was at this weekend thing where they had all old equipment like that. old sawmills, tons of hiut or miss engines, basicly anything that was ever ran off a gas motor was there. washing machines, drill presses all kinds of stuff. the stuff they did to make things work back then was pretty clever to say the least. but osha would have a field day there lol.

Both these look to be recycled from farm equipment recycling at its best.
used up baler and wheel a from an antuqie tractor.the baler looks a tad safer than the wheel model! :clap: :chainsaw:
 
I think they both have "slush" funds set aside so they can buy oil or propane for heat......In the event of losing digits or a limb! :laugh:

thats the kind of guys that say noway am i spendin any money for a splitter i will make my own see how smart i am

Hahaha. You know, there are people who say the same thing's about a maul, or hydraulic splitter.
I know a guy who almost cut his right foot off with a maul. I also know a guy who cut his left thumb & index finger off with a hydraulic splitter.
They're all dangerous, you've just got to keep your head out from between your hip pockets.
