Lets say you were out in the Woods.
It is a balmy -5 in the sun, and it was -35 this morning, so I seems like a beautiful day in the Yukon.
Anyway, you got your saw into a 28" Black Cherry your about to dump, and a beautiful blonde comes up behind you, and says, " What the Hell, do you think your're doing?"
What would you do?
John

I think I'd give myself a pinch to see if I was dreaming! In your dreams you can have blondes wherever and 28 inch cherry trees even in the Yukon.

Keep on loggin John.

Now Jonah got along in the belly of the whale,
Daniel in the lion's den,
But I know a guy that didn't try to get along,
And he won't get a chance again,
And that's all she wrote, Dear John,
I've fetched your saddle home.

Now she didn't forward no address,
Nor she didn't say goodbye,
All she said was if you get blue,
Just hang your little head and cry,
And that's all she wrote, Dear John,
I've sent your saddle home.

Now my gal's short and stubby,
She's strong as she can be,
But if that little old gal of mine,
Ever get's a-hold of me,
That's all she wrote, Dear John,
I've sent your saddle home.

Now Jonah got along in the belly of the whale,
Daniel in the lion's den,
But I know a man that didn't try to get along,
And he won't get a chance again,
And that's all she wrote, Dear John,
I've fetched your saddle home.

Now I went down to the bank this morning,
The cashier said with a grin,
I feel so sorry for you Hank,
But your wife has done been in,
And that's all she wrote, Dear John,
I've sent your saddle home.

well first, i'd wanna know what gypo, stands for
Get Your Pants Off!!
...and do what every other man would do in the middle of the woods...throw down the bottle of beam and crawl to the truck to get some coffee........and drinking and cuttin don't mix, then find the owners of that collie............................guff
:D :D

That's interesting because I had a similar question come to mind recently.

Say you're in the woods cuttin' trees with a buddy and he keels over with a heart attack, but he's got the back cut mostly made on a nice one. Do you finish dropping the tree then fetch help or just fetch help? I'm not just talking about getting off on dropping the tree, though that's part of it, but mainly the safety of the situation.

Kind of morbid, I know...

Nice mixup on the image lead-ins, John.

You guys think this scenario sh!t is something radical. Well I've been through it with Toilet Boy for the last year and I can tell you from personal experience that you ain't seen nothing yet. Over and out.

john,
let me get this striaght. i blonde comes up to you in the woods and you do not have the camera to take a picture? yea right.
marty

Hey Glen, just to be on the safe side, I would finish the cut, just in case the tree falls during resusitation.
I took a picture, but I cant post it here, I sent it to Marty though.
What would you do, if you were at a chainsaw race and just placed first in the 5 cube and under, and while receiving congratulations, you turned around to see Dozer Dan and Greffard tearing down your winning saw to get the figures?
What would you do?
John

Hi Brian, I was only kidding, but I like the pics you send. I am very bad at responding to emails unless of particular urgency.
Probably because I am such an important lil feller and/or slow typer.
John

Hi John.

What would I do? I'd laugh, because that wasn't the saw I'd used to win the race. It was the model for the holographic image I'd projected over the real saw. To give you a hint what it actually was, well, let's just say that Rotax Robert only thinks his Predator is sitting in the shop. (I hope he doesn't waste a full beer by trying to set the can down on the saw, 'cause when he lets go, the can's gonna drop to the floor!)

I still get a chuckle out of your declaration that your 357 is so fast you just follow it around the woods. Maybe that's an old saying, or a variation on one, but it was the first for me that I can recall.

Regarding my possible scenario I hope it never happens, but I thought the proper course of action would be to drag him out of the way and chuck the tree to the ground in the quickest possible manner, then get back to him. Otherwise there could be other people showing up and getting in harm's way or the hazard would be left unattended.

The possibility of such an occurrence wouldn't have come mind in my more invincible years.

Glen

Yeah, that would make a difference..
Unless you were from Canada....

Americans worry about whether it is a holigram or a dream.
