You may be right. I hope to find out later today. Have to mow the lawn first, and then I'm going to try it. Since it's only rated for up to 40HP (I think if I remember correctly), I don't really want to run it on the larger tractor as that's 63 or 65 PTO HP, and There's a good chance I'd damage it. I guess I'll give it a shot on the smaller SCUT, and then make my decision. Since a lot of the stumps on my property are pretty old, I'm hoping that the better part of them are already rotten and won't be an issue grinding.
It is "slip clutch" protected, also it's made to pivot up, if it's overloaded.

I have mine on a 45 PTO hp gear drive tractor with creep tranny.

Well last Saturday night I was sitting on the throne and I saw a small black head on my thigh. I tired to scratch it off but no go' so I had my wife pull a tick about the size of a pencil head. Sunday around noon I would get cold chills even with clothing and a blanket Next i had sweats that soaked everything. Went to the doctor on Monday with this and he gave me a huge blood array test. I was week and had no sleep but I tried to go in for 12 hours ot. Went so bad I went home on my own but had offers to drive me. Now not eating in days was getting to me. I got a call next morning and it was negative for lime but my doctor started my on doxycycline. Thursday he called and told me it was Anaplasmosis, a close cousin of lime dieses . Out of work for how knows long and I can't do anything around here including go outside. I sleep all the time and my appetite will tolerate a 1/2 pbj per meal, any more I might feed the toilet again. but the good news is I want to loose weight and its 9 lb so far.
I might promote it as an all natural weight loose for men! GMO free Gluten free and not from China!
That is my bored wine of the day

Wow, ya, I was of the understanding that the only ticks that you get Lime Disease from are Deer Ticks. And those are the tiny little ticks that are pretty difficult to see compared to "regular" ticks. I hope you heal quickly.

Other than the pull cover assembly, don't know yet. 2100xp
cool. might have to get that off of you. hopefully an air filter is hidden in that stash.

I'm going to head to the cabin for the next couple of days so I will be out of service, but I'll check in with you when I get back once you had a chance to go through your stuff. There is no rush at all.

Posted this in another thread, but probably of general interest.

Saw this at Best Buy, near the fancy coffee makers. Had other 80V outdoor tools on the other side.

Looks pretty mainstream to me!

They've been out for a while now, have quite a fre different things thay run off that battery system.
Don't know if I posted this here before or not, but I don't think so. I bought the Woodland Mills 8" chipper and their stump grinder as well. We can REALLY use the stump grinder on our property, which was selectively logged about 10 or 15 years ago (before we bought it). Stumps everywhere in our woods.

Got the stump grinder about ready to go now. Been putting off cutting the PTO shaft and a few other details for over a week now. Still have to cut the PTO shaft on the chipper, add the hydraulic fluid to it and lower the base to get the PTO shaft angle correct. But I should be good to go with both of them by the end of the week. I hope so anyway.

I also took the tractor to a friend's house last week to set his new standby generator up on the platform that he had built for it (I don't know why he put it up on a platform). After that, on the way home I stopped at the bar to have a cold one, and just had to get a picture of the tractor parked in front of it LOL.

I've been thinking about getting a wc8 chipper (I think it was) from them. Let us know how you like it.
Name the best state to move.

1. Mountains, lakes, rivers, not too far from oceans.
2. Conservative bastion
3. Best 2A support
4. Best access to outdoors, hunting, hiking, and fresh air/water/environment.

New Hampshire
Maine
Dakotas
Carolinas
Idaho
Utah
East Oregon once they succeed
North California once they succeed as well
Alaska.....

Not Idaho! We’re full! Don’t move here, lol.

I'm looking fo an electric 60volt battery powered chainsaw. Got a bid on a Dewalt ($399 with battery/charger) but it comes with an 18" bar. I was hoping for around a 14". I'll be using it for brush cutting only. I'd be willing to buy it as is and then get a shorter bar/chain.

Any suggestions? Source for bar/chain?

That should be cheap lol.
@stihlaficionado
Oh yes. Water sources out in that area of the US will continue to demand higher and higher prices. Now, I don’t plan on throwing down $8-10k an acre but $4-6k would be okay with the right spot. Big differences in the plot whether views, valley, hills, water access, timber, overburden etc, etc.

Eta: prices for raw land with little defect where I am are any where from $8-12k an acre and up.
