Don't worry about me, I'm not planning on punching out. I've got too many fish to catch. I just miss the old guys that have gone on, for what ever reason. I retired from UPS. The tractor trailer drivers bid their vacations twice a year. So a guy would bid to a different shift and a year or so would go by before you missed him. Then you ask someone, and they say, oh, he died a while back. On line forums are like that. Like I say, if you get bummed out, just go fishing, works for me.

Plus, I was curious how many people would ask what my name means?

This year's harvest is coming along nicely. I have one customer left who wants 6 cord every year. I had to give him the bad news that I only had 6 cord that would be cured next year (willow) and I need one of those for myself. I've been bringing home small loads every few days. They have added up. I have 7 or more cords of rounds stacked for split/pile next winter and that will grow some. I actually got into some good (green) blow downs that are yielding nicely. Began on a big one today.

I added a new saw to the stable. Dewalt 18" electric. After a month's use I can recommend an electric for cutting brush. NoI can also t having to start a saw every few minutes speeds up brushing out a tree. I can also run it without wearing hearing protection.

I just went back to 2010, I guess I have never deleted a PM. I hate doing that. I saw a few PM's to Larry, Sagetown. I haven't been to the Good Morning thread since he passed. Some other good guys that are gone. Yooper and Zogger. I told my wife to let you guys know when I croak. My saw collection will be up for grabs, first come first served. Never know, she may give the first guy all of them, bring a truck or trailer. All you have to do is tell her what my forum name means?
What’s your name mean?

Philbert
I think Philbert deserves the saws after all the public service testing and posting he has done for guys on this site.

I spent yet another day rotary cutting,

and there is more to do there.

It took me 3 hours yesterday to mow over at the farm using my JD X485 with a 54 inch deck. More than 4/5ths of that grass can be cut with my Kioti and a Landpride 7 foot deck. I can't use the Kioti on that grass yet because we have had way too much rain and the ground is saturated.

One of a kind ? Lol 😆

UUMMM, wouldn't telling you be like giving the answer to the $64,000 dollar question so you could win? And, wouldn't that be putting me at risk of Collins Double Bitt falling on me? OK, "Rare". Seldom occurring or found, uncommon. "Fish", Barracuda. 1968 Plymouth Formula S, 383, 4 speed, convertible.. The second generation Barracuda's were made 67-69. Officially no big block Formula S convertibles were made in 67. But two 67's with that package have been found. Officially 68 was the first and last year the Big Block Formula S, convertible was offered. They made 64 of them, 24 automatics and 40 4 speeds. In 69 1/2 they started putting 440's in them, but zero were put in Formula S convertibles. The 'Cuda name was first used in the 69 1/2 models, but none were put in convertibles.

Urban legend said, and I repeat it with no knowledge of truth, just because it sounds cool. With out a roof for structural integrity, the big blocks produced enough torque to twist the bodies so bad the windshields would pop out. There should be pics in the readers rides forum. The car has yet to be restored.

I had a 69, out of all the cars I wish I could have, that's one, the others are my first and second cars owned, a 70 Impala 2 door, and a 72 Lemans T-37 with a 68 Firebird ram air II motor. The cuda only had a 318, it was a cool car though. I've had so many cars it's not funny, about like saws, so narrowing it down is a bit of a challenge . I really liked my 79 Malibu with a long rod 400 small block, little faster than the Lemans as the motor was built handle 450hp with a small shot of nitrious(100hp). As a teen, I had a lot of fun in the impala and the Lemans, very rare to see either car, and almost never see an orange lemans with the black reflective racing stripes or a 2 door 70 impala in grey.
Maybe one day I'll build another higher performance car, I already have most everything to build another 96/97 Suzuki 750 GSXR.
Buying this would make the project go a bit quicker, and for the price :sweet:.
I've got a bunch of frames/titles, so I could have it on the street in a matter of days, it might get me in trouble though...

Well I got the pulleys off . Had to make a sleeve as the old shaft is 3/4 new one was 5/8 . That was easy but I then had to make a new keeper key . I scrounged up a piece of SS flat bar that after I cut down and shaped worked perfectly. I was at a Forest Service meeting last night, the wilderness ranger said at 10,000 feet there’s still ten feet deep snow. They’ve had a large number of trees down too. One stretch had 190 trees, last year that same stretch had 40 trees.
