No experience with other cedar but white cedar (fresh or burning) is one of my favorite smells!

White cedar dust on the other hand can be pretty harsh, if you are working with it a mask is advised! The dust is very fine and can very much aggravate sinuses and throats. I am told it is because of the oil.

That's pretty much the case with all cedars in my experience. 👍
 
I had the chance a few years ago to buy a nice place with 27 acres on the water up in Nova Scotia for a song. I could not talk my wife into going. Still kicking myself in the ass for not doing it.
+170 acres for sale over in our neck of the woods for CA$200K. Not on the water though. There's water frontage lots available around, but the days of discounts are long gone.
