DunnoHow did they get that in the house, much less the bedroom?
No sir, it sits on a shelf awaiting spring with all it brothers.Matt, did you ever check the squish on that 262?
We all have those, my 750EVL Echo and MAC 250 give me the side eye every time I bring a new saw in and start tinkering with it instead of finishing them. I have had them for 3 years and the Echo has been torn apart the whole time I have had it and even traveled through a move, I will be lucky to still be able to find all of the parts to put it back together with.No sir, it sits on a shelf awaiting spring with all it brothers.
You're killing me with wood that pretty.... I was planning on doing 2/4 or 1/4 knotted pine in my man cave walls after the shops finished but seeing that kinda makes me want to use something else. Beautiful looking.
It's kinda reminiscent of bacon.....very appropriate for a man cave.....You're killing me with wood that pretty.... I was planning on doing 2/4 or 1/4 knotted pine in my man cave walls after the shops finished but seeing that kinda makes me want to use something else. Beautiful looking.
Yes, the frame is up and I should be starting to enclose it end of this month or beginning of next month depending on the weather and my work schedule. I did make a hard left and decided to add on a lean to off the one side right away. (The township doesn't count unfinished/open air areas as finished floor space/ sq footage.) So I have to sink some sona tubes and put some more poles up, as well as get a few loads of stone in. Here's pretty much where it stands now. I do have the back wall in and complete, just left the front open for the time being. I'm not 100% set on how I'm doing the main door. Pretty set on 2 10'x5' swinging doors vs a roll up/garage door/sliding door. I can get the materials to make the doors for about $300.00 which is less then half the cost of any other type of door that I can insulate and keep weather tight. Got my man door for free. Has a fancy push button lock on it and weighs a ton. Thought my dad and I were going to die getting it into the truck. Need to make a frame for that too. It's kinda reminiscent of bacon.....very appropriate for a man cave.....
Knotty pine's nice too... kinda like a shipping crate or cheap casket......
Btw, I was awol for a while..... did you get the metal framed shop you were planning to purchase?
Hopefully you don't run into the problem I have encountered repeatedly in my woodworking and home renovation work... I've regularly had an idea based around wood I have. Then I discover I don't have enough useable wood and cannot find more that matches well enough to blend in, or at all... In one case I had a small amount of Chinese chestnut and wanted to make a small keepsake chest... To get the job done I ended up mixing in some white oak. It's a small chest but it has through tenons and floating panels. You're killing me with wood that pretty....
