Don't know if there's any real value in this or if it's just a trick for the camera, ran across it on another forum:
What happens if you disconnect the battery? OTThe 2001 Blazer parasitic draw saga continues... Note the gauge positions in the photo. The engine is off, the key is not in the ignition, and the vehicle hasn't been used since last Saturday! Ugh...

"Not good to fill your waist or pockets with them either!" Among other things. lmao OTNow I remember why I wear long pants and boots when I use my saws!
Also, always remember to untuck the shirt so chips fall to the ground! Not good to fill your waist or pockets with them either!
I posted a more recent message with more information and photos... Elder care has consumed me... reading this forum is a respite from my new reality! What happens if you disconnect the battery? OT
Hang in there friend. You honor your parents by helping them. Care givers need all the support that can be mustered. Please don't let it get you down. Those of us that have been in your place understand. Many of us here are too far away to help, but we are always here to listen. Sending prayers your way.I posted a more recent message with more information and photos... Elder care has consumed me... reading this forum is a respite from my new reality!

Great idea and it will last forever.I got a bench this week with cast iron legs & armrest, but it needs new slats, like the one pictured..
I may use composite deck boards.

Let’s have a fiskars party!View attachment 1185289View attachment 1185290View attachment 1185291
I'm in Norway right now so I'm not even going to try to catch up. Fiskars is more than just axes and clippers around these parts.

Hope things get better for you .I never assumed I was alone but I was surprised to find out how many elderly people lay in emergency departments, hospitals, rehab facilities and nursing homes with nobody visiting them or advocating for them... I'm sure its some combination of time, distance, resources, bad relationships, and being "the last man standing" at play. I'm not letting that happen... Commiserating with friends and family who were or are in a similar situation has proven useful from many perspectives. On that note, I need to have lunch and then get back on the phone and then head to the rehab facility... did a home visit and lawn mowing there this morning and will be back there later.
Thank you for the kind words.
It’s really too hot to do anything outside . I had a few water bottles in my cooler in the truck gave one to the flagger guy where they were fixing the road . He looked like he just came out of the water soakedSpeaking of A/C... break time after stacking only 2 loads. And that was after a break cutting a few logs and another break after splitting a few rounds. Might go through 3 or 4 or more shirts today.
