I cannot explain this picture of the icicles. It looks like the new bathroom addition does not have a side on it, when I know that it does! STRANGE!

Sounds great. I may do something like that for the man door into the lean-to.
Guess I need to get my Google fu on and figure out what all I'll use. Need to come up with a plan to make the door move closer to the posts/seals when it closes. I have a few ideas, not sure which will win out in the first round, but I'll try something and see what happens. I'm sure of one thing, that when I do finally finish it, it will seal better and be better insulated than any standard insulated overhead door I've ever seen.

Cam locks work pretty well for sliding doors, but the seals can take a beating if you don't remember to slightly push out on the door when sliding it. Dad's door to the horse stalls is like that. We'll, it used to be, the door seals are long since gone.

But my issue has been trying to find something like it in the length I need. Used similar on the steel man door, and it's a great product. The door is sealed up tight, but it's not practical for such a large door.

I don't want to get into politics, but I don't understand the definition of "woke". I must have been asleep when that came out, but from what I have seen how it's used, it seems to mean "awake to, or aware of, the fact that people who are different than you are human beings with just as much worth as any one else". At least that's what I see when I open my eyes.

It now refers to the people who demand that others kowtow to THEIR view for what is righteous, right, and proper. Also used when someone makes a figurative "mountain out of a molehill" over some social issue rather than actually helping improve conditions of people who have been disadvantaged.

Now that I am on the soapbox..... FWIW I am very involved in volunteering and helping individuals who haven't had the best go at life. Both physically volunteering as well as working with charities that fundraise to donate to those in need. It drives me nuts to see these people piss and moan all the time rather actually helping those in need. IE the Trump family doesn't give a F if you protest their properties. But the soup kitchen sure could use your manpower.

I put cat food out for my barn cats and the possums and sometimes skunk and raccoons think it for them. Trap is set almost daily. I usually take them about a 1/2 mile away. That one has been here twice. Next time he goes for the 5 mile ride.

Sounds like a marketing opportunity… Bring a pile of book-matched, flitch, and quarter sawn, surfaced slabs to the meet up! Maybe a flitch to make a slip matched bed floor?
