My scrounge was sitting on the side of the road this morning . Looks to be brand new did get some road rash ,guess someone is going to be pissed when they get to wherever they were headed IMG_9606.jpeg

The hitch pin clip looks way too big for the hitch pin . If the one on the receiver was like that no wonder it fell out

Is the ball shank 1"? It looks smaller too, but it may just be the perspective. The ball mount clearly says 1" hole. Those need to be matched as well as the clip.

Finally ran a saw for a couple minutes. I took the 026 out for a rip with chain that I sharpened with my new grinder. It was Oregon .325 safety semi-chisel. 20250111_162333.jpgSome chips, not too bad for dead ash.20250111_162435.jpgSome views of the cutters20250111_162740.jpg20250111_162752.jpgI can tell with the grinder that my hand filing angles weren't consistent. This chain cuts smooth and fast while my hand filed chains cut fast but not smooth.

Really hard to beat the U.S General boxes. I like the green, but could live with yellow if the price was right.

Not quite on the same level, but I've got a couple of Milwaukee Packout stacks going that are working out well for me. Tupperware tool chest..? :)

Sorry for the bad picture. The scaffold is staying in here till the last wall is finished. Put up the wall scabs for the desk. Just clamped some boards on to get a feel is I like the depth or want to go narrower. Same dimensions as the corner desk in my man cave in the house. Feels huge out here for some reason. I need to store all the same stuff, so I likely won't make it any smaller.

My grandpa cut off the end digits of his index and middle finger on his right hand on a table saw. He always told us kids he lost them picking his nose.
I had the tip of my right hand ring finger put back on

Little bit of nerve issues with it. My pal that drove me to the ER, I watched his facial expressions when they were doing their work. I couldnā€™t watch my handā€¦

His eyeballs popped out his head, I asked what happened

He said ā€œdude they just rotated and balanced your finger and put it back onā€

Then Uncle Mike can tell you guys about the time I was maybe 2 and my sister was holding my dadā€™s filet knife. I grabbed the blade and she pulled it away. I still (41 years later) have no feeling in that thumb

Mike drove the car to the ER that timeā€¦

Fingers are needed!!

Did this ten years ago. Ran it through a dirt bike chain and sprocket. There was a piece left inside the glove, but it was too smushed for them to save it. Hurt pretty good for a while.View attachment 1232947
Ouch! Gloves and machines/tools don't always play well together...
