The accessory light on my tractor quit. Jeez after 11 years. Nothing lasts anymore!. Stupid bulb had no number on it but with some help from Google and the guy at Napa, I'm back in business for $2.31.
OuchDon't mind the black, it's just dried blood. Snapped the pic before they ckesned it up. Noth the Dr's were very happy with how it looked. Had a hot little blonde thing look at it before the main Dr came in. Daily bandage changes, and I'm allowed to get it wet in the shower and let the bandage off before bed. Warned me about smacking it off of stuff at work, but other then that should be good to go. One more appointment in 10 days, since I was having trouble bending it at the first joint back from my nail. Have some exercises to do to my finger now lol.
Did the same thing to mine right after I got the new head light assembly for it. Big difference vs the oe halogen bulbs.I upgraded to all LED lights, front and rear, View attachment 1232710

Yeah I was considering that. This light has the switch right on it and it's handy for blowing snow. For 2 bucks I'll keep it.I upgraded to all LED lights, front and rear, View attachment 1232710

I've got one on my Model 94 (Buffalo Bill Commemorative with 26" Octagon barrel). No problems so far.Have any of you folks ever used one of these barrel band type swivel attachments? Gonna put one on the o/u Stevens if they work alright. Just been using a small loop of paracord tied on there now, to hang the sling.

Glue the corners down with a dab of silicone so that they can't slide.Iām looking for recommendations for tool chest liners. I prefer the mat type vs the āFench Fitā type for things like combo wrenches, screw drivers, ratchet handles, breaker bars, etc. Iāve got decent socket storage but none of the mats Iāve tried have worked very well: Either the entire mat slid in the drawer or the tools slid on the mats. Suggestions??
Oh crap, that hurts and brings back memories of just a couple years ago having mine hanging by a thread and put back on. I can actually feel things with my finger tip now but it gets really cold in the Winter. Hoping you get a quick healing with that finger.Don't mind the black, it's just dried blood. Got into a fight with the jointer and lost last Saturday night. So what is the back story? I donāt want to do itā¦
My grandpa cut off the end digits of his index and middle finger on his right hand on a table saw. He always told us kids he lost them picking his nose.Got into a fight with the jointer and lost last Saturday night.
Stupidity, and being in a hurry, also changing how we were previously doing things. First mistake was I had my hand over the cutter, which I (we, had a friend over helping.) Hadn't been doing. We were passing from one side to the other, on the infeed/ out feed tables.
Anyway, last board in a hurry, hit a knott, board jumped and my hand slipped. Missing tip of finger is the rest of the story.
Congrats. Having a kid is one of the most rewarding, joyous, challenging, and frustrating things I've ever done. Mine are already 6 and 8, the time really Flys by with them. Enjoy them while they are small.Whatās up everyone. Been MIA for a bit trying to figure out how to be a dad for the past month!

Yeahā¦ it had that look about it. I was treasurer for a relatively large woodworking club for 10 years and a member for probably 25. Iāve seen wounds like that beforeā¦ It only takes a fraction of a second for things to go sideways. I wish you a speedy recovery.Got into a fight with the jointer and lost last Saturday night.

My sonās godfather has a commercial cabinet shop. One time he ran his hand through a dado cutter on a cabinet sawā¦ It took his middle finger off down to the first knuckle. Another of those incidents that led me to change my ways. My postponed plans to mill flooring and trim for my house (elder care demands) led me to buy a power feeder. My intent is to use it on the jointer for face jointing and on the table saw and shaper. āLargeā volume repetitive machining tasks increase the risk of a momentās inattention and increase the risk a defect causes a board to react badly. Add in my maturing age and desire to keep going and it made sense to me!My grandpa cut off the end digits of his index and middle finger on his right hand on a table saw.
