We don't use stands or blinds out here.
I use to drive a 1988 Toyota 4x4 at the ranch and just hop out when I saw something. The last time we took an animal off the ranch was about 15 years ago when the old lady was bugging me to take her hunting. She took both of these standing in the back of the old truck while I drove. The wyoming way...
The other thing that just baffles me is this notion of "hunting camps". We don't do camps out here. My dad and I built a cabin about 10 years ago in the middle of national forest on some land we own. My dad likes to hunt in the forest so we go every year. It's just him and I and the dogs. We don't have a bunch of people come up. I wouldn't know what to do if a bunch of people wanted to come up, but everyone just does their own thing here. There is enough national forest where everyone has enough space for their own camps. It's just totally different out here...
