I hope you all had a great Christmas! I got back from South Dakota yesterday. I took my Dad and older boys out for a guys trip fishing for perch and walleye. Here's a couple pics.

Total for the trip was 21 walleyes, 16 perch and 2 pike. Not too shabby considering I was helping my boys unhook and rebait while the bite was hot. The main thing was we had a great time with Grandpa.
That's a nice haul!!!! I see some specks off to the side too. Was that on Winnebago??

Question to anyone who has put up a steel building recently. What company did you buy from and how was the transaction. My buddy has two Carolina steel buildings and loves them unfortunately they stopped dealing in NY . Looking to get a 30x50 with radiant floor heating I’ll be doing the pour and heat install

Thanks! Yeah, a different group was fishing a different lake. They had about 20 10-12" crappie in addition to some nice perch.

No, we were fishing in South Dakota in the Webster area.

Alrighty fellas, I am stumped

Anyone know what this is??

Sawyer? Grizz??

You older gents know older firearms

Guy in a gun group is wondering what it is. Story is, a widow is selling her deceased husbands toys…

First impression was an underlever box lock that survived because it smashes one’s trigger finger under recoil and wasn’t shot much. 😉 That said, any chance it has proof marks on the bottom of the barrel lump? That might get us to the proper country and maybe a brand.

If he’s lucky maybe the inquirer can pick up guns for what the owner told his wife he paid for them. 😉

Love hearing that other gals are into welding. My daughter is planning on attending the local vocational school for welding next yearView attachment 1230035
I am taking welding at the local community college starting next month. They rarely have an opening there, especially for an older student who isn't attending full time, but I always wanted to learn.
I worked for a welding shop almost 50 years ago, but we did things like fix torches and deliver rental welders. Did very little welding ourselves.
I am going to try and get good at TIG welding aluminum.

Hopr your daughter loves it and does great!

Thanks, yes this class fills quickly. It’s a lottery system to get in. She is annoyed kids with good grades don’t get preference. Luckily I know all the automotive instructors, might have to pull a few strings for her.
