Thanks, I'll l remember that.It seems right around 25 seconds is max , without a video server ,
What saw would you primarily use the most, would go with that, 460 or 660 the 400 moves along pretty good, and would leave it stock but it’s ur choice, I’m spoiled with ported saws so don’t listen to me ,Question for you fellas,
I would like to get a saw ported. What saw would you pick?

Lee, MustangMike has a 261 that is an absolute light saber. I’m a Husky fan and he has to pry it out of my hands. But, if you are going to be doing hard wood and serious firewood duty…. The 460!!!Question for you fellas,

Depends on what you want to use it for. The MS-400 is probably "least in need", but they do respond well and make a fantastic power to weight saw. I would likely lean towards the MS-460 as a great all-around work saw, and they do wake up nicely (factory port timing and squish are all over the place). Doc Al does a great job on the 026s, but they are just great limbing saws. If you're looking for a beast for large bucking and milling, go with the MS-660. (I only have 6 of em running at the moment).Question for you fellas,

Exactly why I said 460, I’m 28years younger than you and I DON’T want to swing a 660 all day…Depends on what you want to use it for. Matt will tell you, his BIL could not believe how my ported 660 went through a big, old dead (hard) Black Locust log. But, IMO, they are too heavy for an all-around saw.
I vote the 460, and runner up 400. Not that I would say no to porting the 026 or 660, but I find 80% of the time I'm running the 400 and not much else.Question for you fellas,

Thanks everyone...I think I will have the 460 ported by Scott Kunz(Tree Monkey) It'll be ugly but it'll run. The 400 is a ripper already and the 026 does what I ask of it.Definitely the 562xp. You did the right thing putting it on your list!

I've done that cut. I thought of it as a solutions to a problem, but never thought I was the first to think of the technique.Cut us some fence line junk today.

Lots of low btu stuff in here but it burns better than snowballs so it’ll get run through the boiler !!

Lots of leaners. The MS200 saw a lot of run time today. Sure do enjoy this little beast.

Not sure if this technique has an actual name but it works great on leaners. Make your face cut, bore in and work back. Prevents barber chairs quite well. I was a bit skinny on the face cut on this one but it popped right off once severed.
