Short bar-long bar, whats up?

Different strokes for different folks. The hardwood guys bag on the PNW softwood, small head/long bar kind of guys, the softwood guys keep trying to tell us that small powerheads with long bars are great, which they are in softwoods.

Hardwood guys like big power on a short bar. Oak and hickory are a bit more of a pull than a fir or pine. I like explosive power. 25" on an 066 or 395 is enough to start a religion.

90 percent on this site run the 361 wich wont pull anything longer than a 16" bar, errrrrrrr oooooooooops i mean most all 60cc saws .

i sualy use the saw with the bar lenght closest matching tree size from 18-28.
my 25" 044 is my do all saw.
