Thanks for the reply
Yes there are! I have (well it actualy belongs to my girlfreind) a nice Honda 25ccm 4stroke trimmer/bruschcutter, that I bought for my girlfriend. Straight gas so no mixing for her and so easy to start I was truely shocked. Its not the power model but its great for her!! Around the garden either with blade or string as she likes.
I am a true beliver in 4stroke now.

flimflam, would have any links so I could check out the oil test you mentioned. I've switched oils a few times lately. I went from Husky XP to Amsoil Saber (mixed at 75:1) and now use Stihl HP Ultra. That's a load! lmao
What low end oil does Stihl and Husky have? They have XP, HP, HP Super, HP Ultra. They are all better than Echo, way better. There's documented facts showing test result comparisons. And yes, they were done by Stihl, but if there were any false information or doctoring, you can bet any of the OEM's listed on that test would be quick to file a lawsuit. None of them have, why? Because it's the truth! Even some Echo reps acknowledge this. Echo oil is JUNK! If you don't believe, then so be it. No lost sleep here.
Yep, nothing like a 4-stroke for starting. Nothing ambigous - they just start. The 4-mix is a true 4-stroke (by engine design, not gas mixing) and starts so well...
Smart man.
For what it's worth, Home Depot carries a Cub Cadet 4 stroke trimmer that does not take mixed gas, but the quality is not very good from what I've seen.
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. Pulled the trigger yesterday and got the fs90r. Smooooth. Also wanted to thank moderators for letting a thread on trimmers onto chainsaws.
Now, has anyone attached the little tiller to your stihl?
