"Been There, Milled That"
inappropriate toys for kids. She gets off on tangents sometimes. When she takes a moment out for a breath, I insert myself in the conversation and tell her that I was pretty mad at Dad for the presents he got my two boys (7 and 11) for Christmas. She gullibly asks, "what was that?". Two chainsaws, I tell her, and her mouth drops open. Not knowing whether to believe me or not, I spring the punch line on her.
"Dad bought them gas powered saws they couldn't start, so I had to go get them electric ones to play with, but they can use them inside since they don't stink nearly as much as the gas ones."
